This page says what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and how to have it deleted.
Last updated: October 16, 2026. This website is run by Vat-Plus, Meiban Road, Minle, Longhua, Shenzhen 518131, China.
What we collect
When you send the quote form, we receive what you type into it: the service you need, the country the goods are in, a description of the goods, their weight if you give it, your name, your email address and your message.
When you send the VAT+ form, we receive what you type into it: the services you tick, the country your company is registered in, the countries you sell in, your main marketplace if you choose one, your name, your email address, your WhatsApp number if you give it, and your message if you write one. If you used the checker on the same page first, the form also carries its result: each service, whether your shop needs it, and which of our rules gave that answer.
The form also records the page you sent it from, or the ad or event page that led you there, and the tracking tags in the link you followed, if it had any, such as the name of an ad campaign. Our event page tags requests sent through it as coming from an event. We copy these tags from the web address. We set no cookie for this and store nothing in your browser.
The checker runs in your browser. It sends us nothing, asks for no email address and stores nothing on your device. Your answers reach us only if you then send the form, and only as the result described above.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs for each request to the site, such as the time, the page and the IP address. We use them to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
What we do not collect
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for marketing.
Why we collect it
We use the details in your quote request to answer the request and, if you become a client, to arrange your shipment. Customs filings in China require information about the shipper, the goods and the consignee. We pass on what the filing requires.
We use the details in a VAT+ request to get you a price from VATAi and, if you go ahead, to have VATAi set up the service. We use the page and the tracking tags to see which of our pages and ads bring in requests.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts this website, delivers its pages and runs the code that receives our forms. That code reads your IP address to limit how often a form can be sent.
- Cloudflare delivers the email that carries your VAT+ request to our team.
- VATAi (VATAI Technology SRL, Brussels, Belgium) receives VAT+ requests. It delivers those services, so it needs your details to prepare your price and do the work. The form says so above its button. We do not share shipping quote requests with it.
Your request reaches our staff in China. We pass a VAT+ request on to VATAi ourselves, and we stay your contact after that. By sending a form you ask us to handle your details in China and, for a VAT+ request, to share them with VATAi.
How long we keep it
We keep shipping quote requests for 12 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep shipment records for as long as customs and tax law in China requires.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them.Email hello@vat-plus.com and we will act on it.
